Sweet Nothings

 While browsing etsy's art section I stumbled upon the KristyBee Photography shop. Her photo's have beautiful flowers, a light exposure, and an overall romantic feel. The soft pink flowers and sky blue background add a feminine touch. Don't you think they'd be perfect in vintage white frames and hung as a collage?

For those of you who don't already know, High Gloss is a newly launched online decor magazine overflowing with fantastic round-ups, beautiful interior design photo's, and interesting articles. Just LOOKING through it is inspiring. It's easy to see that it will be a huge success, best of luck to founder and editor in chief, Paloma Contreras of La Dolce Vita. 

This is my favorite feature in the issue, aside from the pages of fun decor accessories and ikat pillows.

 Lets just say if I didn't share my home with a boy it would probably look something like this.

i'm starting to think maybe valentines day doesn't have to even be about something pink or red. if you're a certain someone reading this and are clueless as to what to buy, these would certainly put a smile on my face. just sayin'

oh, and maybe that LOVE replica too...



Classic Kate Spade

I wasn't always a Kate Spade person, but I've recently jumped on the bandwagon after seeing Bryce Dallas Howard as their new face. The ads are SO colorful and happy that you can't help but be lifted when you look at them. After visiting the website, my suspicions were confirmed- I love just about everything. The home and paper section especially (go figure). I cannot wait to add a couple of these things to our apartment...or my closet.

Love Is...

Love is by Kim Casali has always been one of my favorite comics, (if you can call it that).  Every Saturday I would rifle through the newspaper looking for the right section and instead of reading it, I'd just flip to the back and direct my eyes straight to the area where it's always written. I'd then go grab the scissors and clip it out. Some would stay on the fridge for a week, some left on a mirror to see every day, and some I would leave for my boyfriend to find. They're just one frame, a few words, and a quick doodle but somehow always makes an impact.

Hopefully you'll enjoy them just as much as I do.

Love: J.Crew

I love when I see the J.Crew catalog in my mailbox...It's really inspiring to me.  The styling is great, always crisp & classic - this one has a retro vibe. With all of this gloomy weather in NY it's making me long for Spring..
